Dr. Dan Finch
Dr. Dan Finch grew up on a small farm in North Central Iowa. He attended the University of Minnesota for undergrad and Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine for veterinary school. Dr. Finch’s clinic year of veterinary school was complete at the University of Texas A&M. He has worked as a veterinarian in the greater DFW area since 2014. In November of 2022 Dr. Finch and his wife, Lainey, moved to the Sherman area and purchased Animal Health Clinic. Dr. Finch is proud to have a privately-own veterinary clinic that serves and supports the local community. While Dr. Finch enjoys all aspects of veterinary medicine, he particularly enjoys surgery and dentistry.
Dr. Finch and his wife married in June of 2022. Their family was blessed with a new baby girl, Mary Belle Finch, in December 2023. In his spare time, Dr Finch enjoys hunting, fly fishing and camping. His extended furry family includes a 12 year old Pitbull named Piston and a 5 year old Australian Shephard named Honey.

Angie Cole
Veterinary Technician
My name is Angie Cole, and pictured with me are two of my dogs (Chigger & Flea). I have been working in the veterinary field for 30 years. I have always had a passion for animals since I was a young child, I have been caring for animals all my life. I’m a graduate from Sherman High School and have lived most of my life in Sherman, Texas. When I’m not at work, I enjoy spending time with my animals: horses, dogs, cats, chickens, ducks, guineas, and fish. My hobbies are riding horses, gardening, reading, watching movies and walking my dogs. I’m also an experienced dog trainer of 30 years and offer group positive reinforcement training classes as well as private lessons.

Gracie Simpson
Gracie brings enthusiasm, compassion, and nearly three years of hands-on veterinary experience to our team, including her time at Brakebill Veterinary Hospital under Dr. Morris. As a veterinary technician currently working toward her veterinary technician license, she is dedicated to providing each patient with the attentive, gentle care she’d want for her own beloved dogs — Sam, a 4-year-old Redbone Coonhound, and Riley, a 6-year-old Australian Shepherd/Heeler, who inspired her passion for animal health from the start.
Kelly Drake
Hello! My name is Kelly Drake and I am the receptionist at Animal Health Clinic. My love for animals began early. I was lucky enough to take a field trip to Brakebill Animal Hospital in second grade. From the moment I walked through those doors, I knew I wanted to work with animals. Little did I know that years later, I would have the opportunity to work at that very same clinic for many years.
As a receptionist, I want every pet and their family to feel welcomed, cared for, and comfortable from the moment they walk through our doors. I believe that creating a positive experience for both pets and their owners is an important part of providing excellent care.
I’m a lifelong Texoma resident and graduate of Grayson County College. I am the mother to one cat, Dr. Sheldon Cooper, and two dogs Dooley and Buddy. Most of my free time is spent spoiling my fur children.
I look forward to getting to know our clients and their pets.
Katelyn Murphy
My name is Katelyn. I have been pursuing my career in the field of veterinary medicine for the past 2 years. I recently graduated from Tarleton State University with a Bachelor’s of Animal Science. I have 3 kitties at home named Robby, Link, and Peter. In my spare time, I enjoy reading, crocheting, watching movies, and spending time with family.
